Transcription:

BOSTON, July 15.
Wednesday the Select-Men of the Town visi-
ted the Public Schools, at whose Invitation His
Excellency the Governor, His Honor the Lieute-
nant Governor, several of his Majesty's Council,
and a Number of other principal Gentlemen, with
some of the Rev. Ministers, attended, who all
expressed great Satisfaction in the good order and
Proficiency of the Youth in the respective Schools,
which did Honor to their several Instructors.

Yesterday 7 night, sailed for Placentia, New-
foundland, the Brigantine ---, Benjamin Gor-
ham, Master, in whom went passengers the Lady
and Family of Lieut. Governor Gorham.

The Britannia, Capt. Daverson, arrived here
last Monday from London; but brought no pub-
lic News.

A Mast-Ship is arrived at Falmouth, Casco-Bay,
from England, out 10 Weeks. In which came
Passengers, Henry Barnes, Esq; of Marlborough,
Mr. Selkrig, Merchant, Mrs. Smith, Widow of
the Late Mr. James Smith, Mrs. Berkley, former-
ly Mrs. Jane Day of this Town, with her Daugh-
ter, and a Daughter and Neice of James Murray,
Esq;

Last Wednesday Evening came to Town, JOHN
FOXCROFT, Esq; from Southward, Deputy-
Post-Master-General for North-American, and his
Lady.

The Ship Aaron, John Goff, Master, from Boston to
North-Carolina, was spoke with last Monday se'nnight
15 Leagues from Cape May, 11 Days out, all well.
