The CNSM Research office and its website serves to facilitate the vigorous research community of faculty, staff and student scholars in the College and their collaborative partners in government, academia, and the community.
This research community represents an impressive array of modern expertise in biology, chemistry, geology, physics and mathematics, and it is an important resource for stakeholders from both inside and well beyond the Long Beach campus. We promote a robust culture of engaging and collaborating with state and regional agencies, as well as academic partners and public groups located around the globe.
Our research groups are actively engaged in the application of new technologies and approaches to address modern issues or questions, spanning from marine pollution, therapeutic strategies in medicine, global climate changes, tectonics and California geology, global climate changes, and more.
CNSM Research aims to foster new research ideas and proposals and their implementation, and to build new partnerships and collaborations. We encourage you to browse our website (try Research Expertise and Core Facilities and Services) and to contact us for further information.
