Mobility

Mobility refers to the process of movement. Someone can be mobile in different ways. Economic mobility entails an increase or decrease in wealth. Geographic mobility involves moving to or traveling to other locations. Prior to the American Revolution, colonial Americans were more likely to have visited the mother country than to have traveled very far within the colonies.
