Màwéswole Music

Like many in western Ethiopia (e.g. the Bertha and Gumuz), the Maweswole men employ single note recorders, animal horns, and drums in their music which may or may not be accompanied with singing and/or chanting by women. This recording was made during a party in honor of our research team's first visit to Mus'a Mado in 2007.
