Wende Online Help

The listening exercises that accompany Wende are designed to be completed in conjunction with your textbook. It is handy to have it nearby.

The exercises are designed to be quick to download and easy to use. Just read the instructions on each page and click on the button to hear the audio file. Texts are also available on-line if you would like to follow along with the dialog. When doing the "Hšren" exercises please refrain from reading along the first time, so that you might just practice listening and see how you do on the follow-up questions first.

Remember for those of you who are computer-challenged - computers are our friends. They do only what we tell them to do. Its just that we often tell them things we didn't know we told them in the first place. Thus problems can ensue.

This page should help you set up your computer so that you can listen to all those files seamlessly, learn the German for that day and still have time to go out and catch an iced coffee in the afternoon sun. However, there are always exceptions. Please notify your instructor right away at the beginning of the semester, if you are having problems accessing these very necessary listening exercises so that your grade will benefit from their use. Do not wait until the end of the semester!!!!
