I am an undergraduate at Cal State Long Beach majoring in Psychology and minoring in Computer Science. I am interested in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Human Systems Integration (HSI), Virtual Environments (VR/AR), Augmented Cognition, and the military sector. My goal is to pursue a graduate degree in Human Factors.
CUNY Borough of Manhattan Community College: From 2010 to 2011, My interest in nano-technology motivated me to pursue Chemical Engineering. Gained some experience in a laboratory analyzing samples of polycrystalline silicone and colon cancer cultures with a Raman microscope.
Santa Monica College: During 2012-2013, my background in Information Technology pushed me to pursue Computer Science. A summer course in General Psychology led to my current pursuit in Human Factors and Ergonomics discipline.
Born in New York City to a South Korean father and mother, raised in Queens, NY until the age of 19. Started weightlifting at age twelve and trained in several styles of martial arts until enlisting in the United States Navy.
Served five years in the US Navy volunteering in the Submarine Force and honorably discharged in 2009. Los Angeles has been home for the last few years. I enjoy reading comics, working out, watching movies, and doing work on cars or motorcycles.
