Virtual Bienvenida 2021 Overview / Resumen Bienvenida Virtual 2021

Welcome to Bienvenida, HSI STEM’s annual family event. Traditionally this event is held every Fall (in alignment with Hispanic Heritage Month). Due to the campus protections put into place surrounding the pandemic, HSI STEM will be hosting this event virtually on October 2, 2021. This webpage can be used in conjunction with the online event or separately as needed.

Bienvenidos al evento familiar anual de HSI STEM. Tradicionalmente, este evento se lleva a cabo cada otoño (en consonancia con el Mes de la Herencia Hispana). Puede usar esta pagina web junto con el evento en línea o por separado según sea necesario. Debido a las protecciones del campus implementadas en torno a la pandemia, HSI STEM organizará este evento virtualmente el 2 de octubre de 2021. In parentheses, a number indicates the current number of subtitled languages for your chosen video. Click this area to open a menu of available languages. Select Spanish. From this point forward, Spanish subtitles appear in your video.

Full Length Student Interviews

Student perspectives provide first-hand knowledge about the journey to academic success. The modules included here are the full length interviews with successful STEM students who have participated in various HSI STEM programming serving freshman and transfer students. These accounts are invaluable insights into the realities of being a student at the Beach.
