Parents & Families
Welcome! As parents and family of a Latino STEM student at California State University Long Beach, you are now part of the campus family. You play a critical role in your student’s success in higher education; particularly, because you have a student in STEM, which refers to a major in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.
To start off, we would like to invite you to our annual Bienvenida event. The event aims to empower parents and families to serve as a valuable support system and resource for your college student.
There is a great outlook for Latino students who are pursuing a STEM degree. Together we can help our students successfully graduate from CSULB with their STEM degree and continue onto graduate school or obtain a position at a company.
