Daylight Saving Time Ends Nov. 6

Published: November 3, 2016

You can pick up an extra hour of sleep on Sunday, Nov. 6, when Daylight Saving Time ends. As always, it’s recommended you turn all your clocks back one hour before you go to bed Saturday night.

For future reference, Daylight Saving Time begins each year at 2 a.m. on the second Sunday of March, so that’s when you move clocks ahead one hour.

Standard Time begins each year at 2 a.m. on the first Sunday of November when you move clocks back one hour.

In 2017, Daylight Saving Time begins on Sunday, March 12 and ends Sunday, Nov. 5.

If you like to plan way ahead, the Daylight Saving Time start/end dates in 2018 are March 11 and Nov. 4, and in 2019 the dates are March 10 and Nov. 3.
