PCSW Recognition Event

The President’s Commission on the Status of Women (PCSW) at CSULB honors students, lecturers, tenured/tenure-track faculty, staff members and administrators who actively contribute to the advancement of women on campus through their scholarship, teaching, organizational work, campus community service, and/or any other form of support for women on campus.

The awardees will be recognized at the annual PCSW Research Colloquium on Thursday, April 13, from 5-7:30 p.m. at The Pointe in the Walter Pyramid.

This year’s honorees are:

Leah Sakacs, student, M.A. in Applied Anthropology
Pamela Lewis, staff, Assistant Director of Conduct/Title IX Investigator for Housing and Residential Life
Rosie Kar, lecturer, Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies
Sophia Pandya, faculty, Religious Studies
