University Outreach & School Relations
The Office of University Outreach & School Relations (UOSR) is the primary guest relations and student recruitment center for CSULB. UOSR's responsibilities include:
- Encouraging academic preparedness and college readiness for prospective students
- Recruiting high-achieving scholars and college-bound students by showcasing CSULB's unique opportunities and high-quality education
- Updating high school and community college personnel on university requirements and enrollment initiatives
- Implementing programs and services to promote the academic success of targeted student populations, including underrepresented, low-income and first-generation applicants
- Providing information about educational opportunities for elementary and middle school students
- Offering guided campus tours and specialized campus visits
- Developing hard-copy outreach and recruitment materials, as well as online communications
- Collaborating with on- and off-campus personnel and community partners in the development and implementation of outreach, recruitment, enrollment management and yield activities.
