EOP Summer Bridge Program 2020
July 6th – July 30th
FOUR Sessions being offered beginning JULY 6th thru JULY 30th
The Hybrid Summer Bridge Program is a one-week transition program for all EOP first-time freshmen. It is designed for students to bridge the gap between high school and college through intentional programming and enrichment activities. Students will participate in activities that help them learn about the campus culture, academic writing preparation, identify resources and services, EOP history, leadership development and financial aid information. Additionally, we will be hosting virtual EOP Social Hour during Hybrid Summer Bridge. This will be a great way for students to engage and network with other EOP students. Students will build meaningful connections with EOP students and staff in a virtual & in-person environment.
The Hybrid Summer Bridge Program virtual sessions will be held online Tuesday -Thursday from 8:15am-11:30am via Zoom Video Conferencing. Friday will consist of an in-person experience which will take place on the CSULB campus. Students can choose to attend the Friday morning session from 8:00am-12:00pm or the afternoon session from 1:00pm-5:00pm. If a student is unable to attend the in-person campus experience, an option to participate in online activities will be provided.
