CSULB Parent and Family Orientation (PFO) is excited to have you join our community and we recognize the vital role you will continue to play in supporting your student.

As your partner, we created services designed specifically to help facilitate your student’s successful transition to college life at The Beach. To show our commitment to this partnership, our Summer 2021 PFO Orientation services and resources, including our new Beach Family Portal, will be provided completely free and online beginning June 1, 2021.

Cal State Long Beach is launching a new online Beach Family Portal on June 1! This one-stop-shop will help you feel more connected to the campus, stay involved with your student, and give you access to: online orientations and workshops, year-round personalized newsletters, important campus deadlines and alerts, space to meet other parents based on interests, and much more.

Summer Orientation- (English and Spanish)

PFO online orientations are designed to complement your student’s SOAR orientation experience. We will provide you with virtual presentations, Live Q&A Zoom/FB Live webinars, plus other key information about the resources and programs CSULB has available.
