University Housing & Residential Life
The Office of Housing and Residential Life at California State University, Long Beach recognizes that learning takes place both in and out of the classroom. Long Beach State University's housing will be your home away from home. You'll have the opportunity to learn and grow from peers, staff, and faculty outside of the classroom setting.
First-time freshmen are required (as space is available) to live in University Housing during their first year at CSULB.
First year freshman students living in the residence halls are not eligible to purchase or display campus parking permits. Residence hall students may not bring a car to campus and instead are expected to utilize public transportation, bike or walk.
