Appointments

To arrange an appointment with a Support Services staff member, call (562) 985-4635.

Monday through Thursday: 8 AM - 7 PM
Friday: 8 AM - 5 PM

(Extended evening and weekend hours are available, contact the Support Services Program for more information.)

About the Program

The Bob Murphy Access Center and Advising Program provides accommodations for students with disabilities. Students who need accommodations must provide adequate medical verification of their disability and contact the office to receive services.

Scheduling Your New Student Appointment

You can make an appointment via the front desk at BMAC located at the Student Success Center, #110, or by phone at, 562-985-5401 or via our new e-mail address BMAC@csulb.edu.
If you are making your appointment via e-mail be sure to include in the e-mail subject: "New Student Appointment Request."

What You Will Need for Your Appointment

New Students appointments are estimated to be 1 hour in length
  • Documentation of your disability in the form of a letter from a Doctor or mental health professional that provides information regarding your diagnosis and preferably information on your functional limitations.
  • Student ID
  • Class Schedule
  • Syllabus (if available)

Returning BMAC Students

Please read the below information if you are requesting BMAC accommodations for any of your FALL 2019 courses.

BMAC has developed a new process for returning BMAC students to renew accommodations from previous semesters. Please click on the this Returning Student Accommodations Form link to complete and submit the form.

Only submit a request for accommodation renewal if:

  • your schedule is FINALIZED
  • AND, you have a SYLLABUS for the course(s) you are requesting accommodations in.

Please note that it will take about 7-10 business days after you fill out the form to receive a follow up.
