Academic Services and Campus Life

University Honors Program

The University Honors Program offers small discussion classes with students who share similar interests and abilities; personalized academic advisement and guidance each semester; opportunities for a distinguished undergraduate record as one of fewer than 600 Honors students on campus; and the opportunity to complete an undergraduate thesis project in the area of the student's major. Normally, students should be in the upper ten percent of their high school classes, and have an ACT composite score of at least 24, and/or strong SAT scores, and a GPA of 3.5 or higher. If not all criteria are met, under special circumstances, applicants may be evaluated for admissions consideration by the Honors Program Director.
