Faculty Center for Professional Development


Our Purpose

We support faculty work life through a variety of programs designed to encourage faculty growth and development throughout their careers.

We provide faculty, departments and colleges with

  • Workshops;
  • Short courses;
  • Institutes; and
  • Consultations.

Additionally, in cooperation with other university units and offices, we offer

  • Technology training;
  • Support for scholarly writing, curriculum, assessment, evaluation, and other activities.

Our Location

The Faculty Center for Professional Development (FCPD) is located in, Library, Room 507. 



Transforming Teaching and Learning through High-Impact Practices Award Program

A new awards program, open to faculty and departments, provides awards up to $10,000 to support the development of high impact practices in teaching and to recognize those that have improved student learning and engagement through HIPs.
