Joshua Sadinsky
Piano Technician

Joshua was born and raised in the beautiful hills of Northwest Arkansas and started learning piano at an early age. He received a bachelor’s in music and German at Cornell and has a master’s degree in performance/composition from the California Institute of the Arts.
In 2022, Joshua spent a year in Taiwan on a Fulbright research grant where he studied Mandarin, collected field recordings of nature sounds, composed music, and hosted a collaborative multi-media art exhibition.
He returned to CalArts at the start of 2023 to pursue piano technology full-time under the mentorship of Alan Eder, (Registered Piano Technician). Prior to coming onboard at the Bob Cole Conservatory, Josh worked as the assistant technician and held service contracts at CalArts, UCLA, USC, and Santa Monica College.
Joshua loves the outdoors, cooking, and creative pursuits of all kinds. He hopes to be of service in students’ musical journeys and to bring out the very best in the BCCM’s pianos. Please stop by and say hello!
