Pete Korpela is a versatile percussionist whose career spans studio recording, touring, orchestral, Broadway, and jazz performance. He has contributed to major film scores including Avatar 2 & 3, Zootopia 2, Superman, Lilo & Stitch, The Lion King, Inside Out 2, and Killers of the Flower Moon.
Active in Los Angeles’ vibrant music scene, Pete brings a wealth of professional experience and a broad stylistic perspective to his teaching at California State University, Long Beach, where he is dedicated to preparing students for the diverse demands of today’s music industry.
