Timpanist and percussionist Gregory Goodall has performed on over 700 Hollywood motion pictures for such notable composers as John Williams, Jerry Goldsmith, James Horner, Alan Silvestri, James Newton Howard, Randy Newman, David Newman, John Debney, Christophe Beck, Joel McNeely, and Hans Zimmer. His list of film credits includes the popular scores from Star Wars: The Force Awakens, The Good Dinosaur, Frozen, Monsters Inc., Ice Age, Life of Pi, Avatar, Toy Story, Titanic, Forrest Gump, Air Force One, and Jurassic Park.

Mr. Goodall also serves as Principal Timpani for the Los Angeles Opera Orchestra under James Conlon, Music Director, and Placido Domingo, General Director. In addition, he has performed with many other orchestras, including the Los Angeles Philharmonic and the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra. During each summer, he performs with the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra.

Mr. Goodall was featured at a Percussive Arts Society Convention and performed chamber music with Pierre Boulez. He attended UCLA where he received a BA in Music and MFA in Music Performance Practices. His teachers include William Kraft, Mitchell Peters, and Charles DeLancey.
