Professor Paula Sabin has been on the music history and literature faculty since 1987 and teaches undergraduate music history surveys, music appreciation, and interdisciplinary courses in music and the humanities. She holds degrees from the University of Denver and the University of Colorado, and completed a Ph.D. in musicology at the University of California, Berkeley. A specialist in interdisciplinary teaching, Professor Sabin has co-authored a study guide to accompany the humanities text, The Creative Impulse, published by Prentice Hall. She is also active as a private piano teacher.
