Dr. Brad Van Patten has over 40 years of practical teaching and administrative experience within public schools. His commitment to educators centers around optimizing instructional practices. Drawing from extensive educational research and real-world insights, Brad offers perspectives on the needs of today’s classrooms. He has taught music in grades 4-12 along with college level courses at several local universities.
Dr. Van Patten is very proud to be on the faculty of his alma mater, CSULB, where he earned both his B.M. and M.A. in Music Education. Dr. Van Patten is excited to support students’ journeys as they start their professional careers as a music educator.
