Marcus Carline started as a student technician for the Conservatory in 2013 and continued on as part-time staff when he graduated in 2015 with bachelor’s degrees in Composition and Jazz Studies. Now, as full-time staff (Performing Arts Technician), he oversees the operations of the Gerald R. Daniel Recital Hall and trains student technicians in the various elements of running an event.

Marcus is an active and multifaceted artist in the LA and OC areas. He regularly performs with choirs C3LA, VCLB, and CAI, as well as singing and music directing for the a capella group Westbeat. Among other things, he is a co-founding member of the Los Angeles Electroacoustic Ensemble and an amateur meadmaker.
