If you are struggling in any of your courses, would like dedicated one-on-one peer tutoring, or want assistance further developing your study and academic skills, the SAS Peer Mentor program offers individual mentoring. Individual mentoring is free one-on-one tutoring and mentoring for a minimum of 6 hours a semester. You will be able to meet with your assigned peer mentor anywhere on campus at a time that is convenient to both of you.
Your individual mentoring sessions will be tailored to fit your needs and can be extended to last throughout the entire semester. In order to participate in this unique and invaluable program, ask your pre-major advisor about if this is right for you. If you have already declared a major in math or science, visit the CNSM Academic Advising Center during walk-in hours to speak with an available advisor.
