Imagine you only had one hand, or only one functioning limb. How would you be able to do everyday things? What if an artificial hand or limb could be designed for you? This workshop will take you through the engineering design process as you learn about the form and function of the hand and limbs so that you can design and build several different working versions. Alberto Lazaro is an elementary teacher in Montebello Unified School District who incorporates lots of engineering, 3D printing and technology into his classes. This series of activities was inspired by students in his classroom!
