Q: How can I see an advisor?

CNSM Pre-major advisors will be available for drop-in hours. Starting 8/29, the schedule is as follows:

  • Monday: 10:00am-12:00pm in person
  • Tuesday: 1:00pm-3:00pm in person
  • Wednesday: 12:30pm-2:30pm via Zoom
  • Thursday: 10:30am-12:30pm via Zoom
  • Friday: (no drop-in hours)

In-person drop-in hours are held in the Hall of Science (HSCI) building, Room 164.

Q: Who do I see/contact if I need assistance from my major department?

When contacting department staff, please be sure to include your name, student ID number, and the class section(s) you are looking to add/change.

Q: How can I find my assigned academic advisor and their contact information?

Q: Where can I go to complete my online course if I am on campus?

  • University Library study spaces and computer lab is open for all students.
  • The University Express Lab in the Student Success Center has a very limited computers and printers available for use. Reservations are highly recommended.
  • The Horn Center benefits students by ensuring open access to amenities such as a wi-fi enabled study lounge, multiple adaptive (height-adjustable) computer workstations, self-service print/copy machines, and an open computer lab (300 seats).
  • Students can access many Wifi hotspots on campus to work outdoors: View University Wi-fi map.

Q: When will tutoring be available?

Tutoring at the Jensen SAS Center will begin on Tuesday, September 6, 2022. For more information and updates, please visit CNSM Science and Math Tutoring.
