Keynote Speaker
Dr. Christopher Ehret, Distinguished Research Professor at UCLA, will give the NACAL 46 keynote address: "Expanding the Afroasiatic Reconstruction: Historical Linguistics in a Deep-Time Language Family".
Call for papers
Submissions are solicited for the 46th annual meeting of the North Atlantic Conference on Afroasiatic Linguistics (NACAL) to be held at California State University, Long Beach, CA, from Friday, June 1 through Sunday, June 3, 2018.
Early Registration is now open until April 30. After that date, rates will increase by $25.

The 46th Annual North Atlantic Conference on Afroasiatic Linguistics is drawing near. We’re looking forward to a great meeting and many wonderful papers. We have posted a tentative program. We also want to note that early registration will remain open at the current rates until the end of April. Beginning May 1, the rates will increase by $25.
