Making an Appointment to See the Graduate Advisor

Do you need to see Dr. Perrone? As the graduate advisor for the School of Criminology, Criminal Justice, and Emergency Management, you may need to see Dr. Perrone to:

  • enroll in GS 700;
  • have prerequisites waived;
  • substitute a course taken at another university for one required in the criminal justice master's program;
  • be reinstated in the university;
  • discuss qualifying exam, comprehensive exam, or thesis options;
  • discuss paid and unpaid research opportunities;
  • problem-solve a grade dispute or other problem in a criminal justice master’s course or with a criminal justice instructor; or
  • obtain advising on a host of issues.

Regardless of why you may need to see the Dr. Perrone, it is not a good idea to "drop by" without an appointment, especially in the summer months. Dr. Perrone's schedule is quite hectic. She is rarely in her office and available to see people without an appointment. So, be sure to email Dr. Perrone at to set-up an appointment when you need to see her.
