2020 CHER Institute Makes Impact Online

Despite myriad challenges brought on by COVID-19, the 2020 CHER Mentors, Fellows, Directors and Staff forged ahead to provide another impactful week-long Institute! All-virtual this year (our first), the 2020 CHER Institute was still able to connect seasoned research investigators and enthusiastic new faculty from diverse backgrounds around the country, to provide the tools and experience for success in preparing winning NIH grant proposals.

Below are just a few of the synchronous presentations our Fellows were able to participate in, featuring our esteemed group of Mentors. While CHER looks forward to 2021 with hopes of meeting again in person -- if and when our global health crisis allows -- we now know we can use technology and the determination of our colleages to provide a meaningful and enriching experience, no matter what the circumstance may be.
