Jacqueline Bobak, soprano, recently has appeared on the Los Angeles Philharmonic Green Umbrella series, the Monday Evening Concerts (LACMA), the "Meetings of European Music Festival" (Prague and Brno, Czech Republic), the New Music Exposition (Brno), and at the Getty Center, the Lichtenstein Palace and Galerie JirĖ Svestka (Prague), and Maybeck Hall (Berkeley). She has appeared as a soloist and ensemble member with Xtet, Electric Phoenix, and the CalArts New Century Players, has premiered works by Wadada Leo Smith, Ung, Rzewski, Ivo Medek, Martin Herman, and William Brooks, and has recorded for New World. Since 1991 she has taught at the California Institute of the Arts, where she is coordinator of vocal studies.
