Kyle Wilson

Greetings! My name is Kyle Wilson and I am currently a first year student in California State University Long Beach’s Human Factors Master Program. After graduating in 2014 with my Bachelor’s in Psychology, I worked briefly at Cetera Financial Advisors as part of the Electronic Order Entry team. My time there granted me firsthand experience with using complex systems in a live work environment as well as reigniting my passion for computer hardware and software, both which were vital in my decision to pursue a career in Human Factors.

My professional interests lie in examining tactile sensory processing and it’s interaction with technology that that utilizes haptic feedback. If possible, I would like to determine if haptic feedback has a common place in technologies outside of mobile phones and in systems found in the automotive and medical field.

My personal interests touch upon many facets of content creation. In my free time I enjoy fiction writing, digital and traditional drawing as well as musical composition in digital audio workstations. I am a crime drama addict and my favorite show is Elementary, a modern American take on the classic character Sherlock Holmes.
