1. How can I know whether units will transfer as quarter or semester units?
The best thing to do is to call the university or check its website/catalog. You can also check College Source Online, though how to count units is ultimately left to the discretion of CSULB Enrollment Services. Using College Source: After you find a university, click on the icon to the left of the school name that looks like a university building College Profile. Make sure "Calendar System" says "Semester" (sometimes it says something ambiguous there). If you click on the Key iconTranscript Key in the top right, you can find the transcript key -- there is sometimes additional information there.

2. How can I know whether a university is accredited?
The best thing to do is to call the university or check its website/catalog. You can also check College Source Online: follow the instructions above. After clicking on the building icon, make sure it says "ACCREDITED" next to "Regional Accreditation Status."

3. Can I use units for the Masters program for courses that I took before entering the MS program?
