Reading Quiz #3
1. (2 points). One of the devices you will be working with today is the function generator.  It maintains a time-dependent voltage that you can control with its front panel.  Suppose that the function generator is set up to maintain +5 Volts for 5 seconds, and then switch to -5 Volts for 5 seconds, continually repeating the cycle.  On the graph below, plot the voltage vs. time.

Now suppose the function generator is set up to start from 0V, rise steadily (that is, at a constant rate) for 5 seconds up to a maximum of +5 V, and then steadily decrease back to 0V in the next 5 second.  Then, the pattern repeats itself.  On the graph below, plot the voltage vs. time.

(0 Points) What is your general impression of how the course is going so far?  Are the reading quizzes appropriate, are you comfortable in the lab, etc.
