Resources Available to The Beach Community

Dear Students,

In my walks across campus following last week’s presidential election, many of you expressed concerns about potential policy changes in the new administration that could negatively affect you or your families. As I said in my email to the community on Monday, Long Beach State is proud to be a diverse, secure and welcoming learning community, and we are committed to making sure every student feels empowered to pursue his or her dreams.

For those of you who are feeling distressed, or who simply want to talk about your experience, I want you to be aware of the large number of resources we offer, which I have listed below.

Whatever your politics, your cultural affiliation, or your personal preferences, our staff and faculty are here for you. Remember, we are ONE BEACH.

Go Beach!
