Michael T. Losquadro is associate vice president of development at CSULB. Appointed in the summer of 2006, Losquadro, along with Vice President Andrea Taylor, is responsible for planning and executing the university’s first comprehensive campaign. Previously, he served as executive director of development at the University of California, Irvine. Joining the University Advancement staff in 1990 as the director of campaign operations for UCI’s first capital campaign, he assumed responsibility for planned giving in 1991. He was later promoted to executive director in 1999. In that role he had responsibility for development programs within the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics, University Libraries, Student Affairs, the Division of Undergraduate Education, the Office of Gift Planning, the Office of Annual Giving, and the Office of Donor Relations & Stewardship. Losquadro staffed the Donor Stewardship Committee of the UCI Foundation, and he provided staff support to the Finance & Investment Committee.

He is a frequent lecturer at estate planning forums, as well as a past faculty member of the CASE national conference on capital campaigns. He is a past board member of the Planned Giving Roundtable of Orange County and a member of the National Committee on Planned Giving.

Losquadro earned a Bachelor of Arts in Operations Management from the Mihaylo College of Business Administration and Economics at California State University, Fullerton. He also earned the designation of Certified Specialist in Planned Giving from the American Institute of Philanthropic Studies at California State University, Long Beach.

He has served as a mentor to CSUF undergraduate business students and is a reserve lieutenant with the Orange County Sheriff’s search & rescue unit.
