John C. Molina is the son of the late C. David Molina, who founded Molina Healthcare. John has been employed at Molina in various capacities since its inception. John currently serves as Chief Financial Officer of Molina Healthcare, Inc. As CFO, John oversees all financial and corporate development functions including accounting and finance, treasury, investor relations and marketing, human resources, and market expansion.
During John’s tenure as CFO, the company has gone public and has more than doubled the number of Medicaid lives the company covers, as well as tripling revenues. The company footprint was expanded from operations in four states to sixteen states in the time since the company’s IPO in July 2003.
In addition to serving as Molina’s CFO, John has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Los Angeles Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank and is the Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors of the Aquarium of the Pacific. He is a member of the Board of Directors for the Long Beach Convention and Visitors Bureau and serves on the Board of Governors of California State University, Long Beach.
In the past, John has served on the boards of the Downtown Long Beach Business Associates, the Long Beach Community Foundation, the YMCA of the Metropolitan Los Angeles and the Southeast Division of the American Cancer Society of California.
