Grand Gestures: The Gordon F. Hampton Collection highlights 35 works from The University Art Museum’s Gordon F. Hampton Collection, an 85−piece collection with great strength in the area of second−generation Abstract Expressionist painting. This fabulous collection came to the museum through the remarkable generosity of the Gordon F. Hampton Foundation and Mr. Hampton’s children: Wesley G. Hampton, Roger K. Hampton, and Katharine Hampton Shenk.
