About the Annual Program

Every year the IRA CL/R SIG presents a program
at the International Reading Association (IRA) Convention.

The Program Chair for this event is the President-Elect of our SIG.

Program highlights
include
Featured speakers focusing on a common theme
• Presentation of the annual list of Notable Books for a Global Society
• Announcement of the most recent list of Los Angeles' 100 Best Books (flyer)
• Annual Assembly / Business Meeting
Door prizes (books and journal copies)

All conference participants are invited to attend. Click here for IRA Program information.

Sessions for the various SIGs are offered on a rotating basis, so the time for the program varies from year to year.

Join us for
• Stimulating presentations
• Helpful information
• Meeting and greeting people from around the globe also interested in children's / young adult literature
