The Long Beach College Promise to Celebrate Its 10th Anniversary

Educational leaders and the mayor will share successes and honor Long Beach Rotary as a Promise Champion

WHEN: Thursday, March 22 at 10 a.m.

WHERE: Museum of Latin American Art, 628 Alamitos Ave., Long Beach, California 90802

WHY: Ten years ago, Long Beach State University, Long Beach City College and Long Beach Unified School District committed to the Long Beach College Promise, extending the promise of a college education to every student in the Long Beach Unified School District. The city of Long Beach joined in 2014. Since its inception, The Promise has served as a model for communities in California and across the country to develop partnerships and promote student success.
