Sunday, Dec. 10; registration opens at 10:30 a.m., folled by brunch and program at 11 a.m.

WHERE:

Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort and Spa, 21500 Pacific Coast Highway, Huntington Beach, Calif. 92648

WHY:

The chapter noted that Conoley has written the campus community “often about the right of every person to be treated with respect, be free of harassment and be offered every chance to succeed.” She was also lauded for her “opposition to a resolution that began as a Boycott, Divest and Sanction effort against Israel. The resolution followed a spate of incidents in which swastikas and anti-Semitic fliers found on campus, including on Holocaust Remembrance Day.”

ADDITIONAL INFO:

In addition to Conoley, Michael Rosen and Deborah Lewis will be honored for their work in the Long Beach Jewish community.
