Cal Rep Kicks Off Spring Season with ‘Dreamers: Aquí y Allá (Here and There)’
Play features voices of Dreamers, DACA students and community members

“Dreamers: Aquí y Allá (Here and There),” a new play featuring the voices of students in the California-Mexico Dreamers Study Abroad Program, DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) students and community members. The production kicks off the Theatre Arts Department's California Repertory Company (Cal Rep) spring season.
Curtain is at 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 15–Saturday, Feb. 17, and Tuesday, Feb. 20–Saturday, Feb. 24. There also are 2 p.m. matinees on Saturday, Feb. 17, Saturday, Feb. 24 and Sunday, Feb. 25.
Long Beach State University’s Studio Theatre, located at 7th Street and East Campus Drive at the southeast corner of campus. The campus is at 1250 Bellflower Blvd., Long Beach, CA 90840.
“‘Dreamers: Aquí y Allá’ represents the best of what we do at Cal Rep. Cal Rep focuses on stories by and for Californians – and this piece is exactly that,” Artistic Director Jeff Janisheski said in a statement. “The majority of Dreamers are living in California, and over 1,000 Dreamers are on campus. This piece aims to tell their story.”

Parking is available in Lot E8 weeknights after 6 p.m. The fee is $8 for all university lots. Parking can be purchased from an attendant or at a yellow, green or gray parking fee box.
