To Celebrate The Pyramid's 10th Anniversary

The CSULB community will host Homecoming '05 on Saturday, March 5, from 1-5 p.m. in parking lot 13 adjacent to The Pyramid. Celebrating The Pyramid's 10th anniversary, everyone is invited to participate in the biggest birthday party in town featuring many free activities for the whole family. Homecoming activities will be followed by the men's basketball game against Big West rival UC Santa Barbara and performances by the alumni band, “The Big Brown Music Machine.”

The 49er Athletic Association and CSULB Alumni Association will co-host a group tent for members, the campus community and friends. It's a great opportunity to reunite with old friends and associates.

A barbeque buffet sponsored by the Alumni Association and the 49er Athletic Association will be served from 2 to 4 p.m., with meal tickets costing $10 for children (under 10), $15 for adult members and $17 for non-members. Tickets for the basketball game are $7 and children (under 10) are admitted into the game free with purchase of a meal ticket.

Homecoming 05The “free” Homecoming 2005 activities will include campus shuttle tours, a super slide, obstacle course, climbing mountain, basketball double-shot, inflatable boxing, face painting, children's activities and games, historical tent featuring CSULB yearbooks and photos, and the mobile science museum. The tailgate zone will feature a tailgate decorating contest, K-Beach, bands and the Associated Students barbeque. The official program will begin at 3:45 p.m. with introduction of the 2005 Homecoming Court, performances by The Beach cheer and dance squads, and the announcement of the Alumni Association Opportunity Drawing winners. Also, don't forget to stop by the Alumni membership booth for your complimentary Naked Juice samples.
