Homecoming 2015 On Nov. 14

Long Beach State of Mind…Homecoming and Open House 2015 will be held on Saturday, Nov. 14, and staff and faculty members can attend for free as a guest of their vice president and bring guests for just $5 each.

Free activities for the whole family take place at the homecoming site in Lot 13 and include airbrush tattoos, caricature artist and more. Ride the zipper and cheer on the Red Bull chariot race teams in the student tailgate zone. Visit booths featuring the Mobile Science Museum, Student Recreation and Wellness Center, University Art Museum (UAM) and almost a dozen club sports doing demonstrations.

The Alumni Association will host the Alumni and Friends tent with the campus community, alumni and friends of the university. A barbecue buffet will feature a selection of sliders, nacho bar and a sundae bar from 11:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

Shuttle buses leave every 15 minutes for campus open houses including the Shark Lab, UAM, Science Learning Center and marine biology Labs and the Earl Burns Miller Japanese Garden.

Game ticket packages are available that include a meal and ticket for the men’s basketball game versus the BYU-Hawaii Seafarers tipping off at 4:05 p.m.
