Spooktacular Set For Oct. 31

Plan to come out and see how scary and creative CSULB staff can be with Halloween costumes, office decorating and skillfully carved jack-o-lanterns at the annual staff Halloween Spooktacular from noon to 1 p.m., on Thursday, Oct. 31, at the speaker’s platform/lawn area in front of the University Bookstore.

The event, which is hosted by the CSULB Staff Council Special Events Committee, includes:

• An office/department decorating contest for small and large offices/departments.

• An individual and group costume parade and contest.

• A pre-carved pumpkin contest.

• Refreshments/treats and spooky music.

• Awards ceremony for all contests.

Registration begins at 11:45 a.m. for the individual and group costume contests and pre-carved pumpkin contest.
