ATTENTION: Electronic submission of manuscripts is REQUIRED beginning with Fall 2014. Not all web pages have been completely updated and may have contradictory information. Please contact the Thesis and Dissertation Office if you have any questions or concerns about the submission process.
Specifically, the Checklist refers to the signature/approval page as being part of the manuscript. The signature/approval page is now handled as a separate document from the PDF manuscript. A revised version of the Checklist will be available on this web page as soon as possible.
The following is intended as a quick checklist of the areas that present the most problems for students. Please refer to the University Style and Format Guidelines for Theses, Project Reports, and Dissertations for the complete guidelines. University guidelines take precendence over departmental style guides (see the listing of Departmental Style Guides).**
The Checklist offers an interactive PDF form that can be used, in conjunction with the University Style and Format Guidelines for Theses, Project Reports, and Dissertations, to track manuscript formatting adherence. The interactive capability of this form requires Adobe Reader 9.0 and above.
Students who require an accessible screen read version will need to use Adobe Reader 9.0 or above. From the "View" menu in Adobe Reader, select the "Read Out Loud" option to have the PDF document read.

After downloading the Checklist, save the file to a location on your personal computer or on a flash drive.
**Strict adherence to guidelines is required as theses, project reports, and dissertations can be rejected when they contain numerous and consistent formatting errors.
