CSULB Innovation Challenge

The CSULB Innovation Challenge is an opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students from across the university to make a difference in our local and global communities through innovation and entrepreneurship. It helps bridge the gap between a great idea and its execution.

Then Innovation Challenge might be your ticket to help make it a reality. In addition to $10,000 in seed funding, you will also be provided office space, marketing, legal and accounting services totaling up to $50,000 of value to help start your new business! Finalists from Previous Years

Lux Nova - Led by Trevor Wagnor, Lux Nova includes team members, William Berubie, Paul Ferretti, German Leal, The-Ban Nguyen, Adam Price, Miguel Vintimilla and Dickson Yuen. The company has an unique process that uses a 3D printer to produce bone-like structures.

AMoment - Led by Mai Huong Ngyuen,AMoment includes team members Pathikrit Browmick, Angelica Diaz, Tuan Linh Vu and Lily Zhou, AMoment is a social gifting mobile application. It not only reminds the user of upcoming important dates, but also provides meaningful and desired gift recommendations.

Rescue Rover - Led by Felicia Castillo, Rescue Rover includes team members Otto Marin and Jose Tapia. The company has created a new enhanced design for a canine wheelchair which has features currently not available in the marketplace. The product was designed to improve the comfort and mobility of handicapped animals.

Arbalist Creative - Led by David Chen, and includes team members Kevin Coss and Chris Webster, is a product development firm that is focused on designing products for licensing and equity stakes. They are currently addressing consumer product companies in fitness accessory, home care, and personal care markets.
