Team Mission Statement
Promote and strengthen mental health and physical health for all members of the campus community through programs of prevention, awareness, and response.
Eligibility Requirements
Migrant or seasonally employed agricultural workers or whose immediate family who (one or more):
- Are at least 17 years of age or older, or beyond the age of compulsory school attendance.
- Do not have a secondary school diploma or its equivalent and are not currently enrolled in school.
- One of the following:
- Have worked a minimum of 75 days in agriculturally related employment in the last 24 months.
- Are eligible or have participated in a Migrant Education Program Title I, Part C.
- Are eligible for service under the Workforce Investment Act, Section 167 Program.
Services
- High School Equivalency (HSE) preparation and individualized classroom instruction in all subject areas
- Academic and vocational advising
- Costs of HSE exam, books and class materials
- One-on-one and group tutorial assistance
- Post-HEP assistance and planning
- Extracurricular activities for personal and group development
