Annual Report for July 1, 2016 - Jun 30, 2017 *

Each Campus will report the following annually on October 1, for the prior fiscal year (July 1 to June 30), without disclosing any information that would reveal the identities of the parties involved:

  1. The number of Sexual Misconduct, Dating and Domestic Violence, and Stalking reports received in which
    1. A Student is the Respondent = 23
    2. An Employee is the Respondent = 1
    3. A Third Party is the Respondent = 1

    TOTAL = 25

  2. The number of Sexual Misconduct, Dating and Domestic Violence, and Stalking reports investigated;

    TOTAL = 8

  3. The number of Sexual Misconduct, Dating and Domestic Violence, and Stalking reports resolved without investigation, including a description of the resolution and/or reason for no investigation;
    1. Early Resolution = 4
    2. Declined to file and requested academic accommodations = 6
    3. Complaint filed and then withdrawn by students deciding not to pursue investigation = 2
    4. Declined to file complaint and did not wish further assistance = 1
    5. Declined to file complaint and received referral for services = 1
    6. Did not respond to Title IX Office = 3

    TOTAL = 17

  4. The number of Sexual Misconduct, Dating and Domestic Violence, and Stalking investigations in which the Respondent was held responsible, including a description of the final sanction;

    Sanctions for Respondents were as follows:

    1. Expulsion = 1
    2. Three-year suspension and degree not to be posted until suspension completed = 1
    3. One-year suspension and degree not to be posted until suspension completed =1
    4. One-year suspension = 1
    5. Eleven-month suspension and prohibited from campus access while Complainant is enrolled as student = 1
    6. Six-month suspension = 1

    TOTAL = 6

  5. The number of Sexual Misconduct, Dating and Domestic Violence, and Stalking investigations in which the evidence was found insufficient to hold the Respondent responsible.

    TOTAL = 2

* These statistics are provided in compliance with Executive Order 1095, revised 6-23-15. They are for the period July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2017. Clery statistics in the University’s Annual Security and Fire Safety Report are reported for the 2016 calendar year as required by federal law. Reports to the Title IX Coordinator may be related to incidents which did not take place on Clery defined geography, therefore the statistics in this report may not coincide with Clery statistics in the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report.
