Annual Report for July 1, 2015 - Jun 30, 2016 *

Each Campus will report the following annually on October 1, for the prior fiscal year (July 1 to June 30), without disclosing any information that would reveal the identities of the parties involved:

  1. The number of Sexual Misconduct, Dating and Domestic Violence, and Stalking reports received in which a Student is the Respondent; TOTAL = 30
  2. The number of Sexual Misconduct, Dating and Domestic Violence, and Stalking reports received in which an Employee is the Respondent; TOTAL = 5
  3. The number of Sexual Misconduct, Dating and Domestic Violence, and Stalking reports investigated; TOTAL = 12
  4. The number of Sexual Misconduct, Dating and Domestic Violence, and Stalking reports resolved without investigation, including a description of the resolution and/or reason for no investigation; Early Resolution = 7; Survivors did not wish to participate in investigation = 11; Title IX Coordinator looked into situation, determined no formal action needed and complainant was satisfied= 2
  5. The number of Sexual Misconduct, Dating and Domestic Violence, and Stalking investigations in which the Respondent was held responsible, including a description of the final sanction; TOTAL = 7 (3 employee terminations and 4 students sanctioned)

    Sanctions for the above-referenced students were as follows:
    1. Stayed suspension; no contact order; banned from on-campus housing; educational sanctions
    2. 5 year suspension including banned from the premises of any CSU campus; community service; abstention from alcohol; no contact order
    3. Stayed suspension; no contact order, banned from on-campus housing; educational sanctions
    4. Stayed suspension; no contact order; banned from on-campus housing; educational sanctions
  6. The number of Sexual Misconduct, Dating and Domestic Violence, and Stalking investigations in which the evidence was found insufficient to hold the Respondent responsible. TOTAL = 5
The information shall be reported in a manner that protects the privacy of the persons involved, including victims, Respondents, and witnesses, and shall be posted on the Campus web site.
*These statistics are provided in compliance with Executive Order 1095, revised 6-23-15. They are for the period July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2016 while Clery statistics in the University’s Annual Security and Fire Safety Report are reported for the 2015 calendar year as required by federal law. Reports to the Office of the Title IX Coordinator may be related to incidents which did not take place on Clery defined geography, therefore the statistics in this report may not coincide with Clery statistics in the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report.
