Financial Aid Awarded to CSULB Undergraduate Students

In 2006-07, approximately 64 percent of CSULB’s full-time undergraduate students received financial aid of some type including need-based loans, work study and non need-based scholarships.

Annual Need-Based Scholarships and Grants

In 2006-07, approximately 45 percent of CSULB’s full-time undergraduate students received need-based grants or scholarships; the average award for the year was $4,720.

Annual Need-Based Loans

In 2006-07, approximately 43 percent of CSULB’s full-time undergraduates received need-based work-study and/or loans (not including parent loans); the average loan for the year was $3,143.
