The department of New Student and Family Programs (NSFP) cultivates the transition of our diverse populations by facilitating student advancement toward graduation and fostering partnerships with families to support student success.
SOAR MISSION STATEMENT
Under the leadership of NSFP, Student Orientation Advising and Registration (SOAR) directs its major efforts toward the advising, registration and orientation of newly admitted CSULB students who are making their academic and social transition to the University.
PFP MISSION STATEMENT
Under the leadership of NSFP, Parent and Family Programs (PFP) engages parents and families of CSULB students through strategic programming, periodic communication and critical resources to support student advancement toward timely graduation.
